Fresh Teignmouth greeting
The letters spelling Teignmouth as you enter the town on the coastal rail route have been given a facelift. A sure sign that you’ve hit the seaside, the ‘Teignmouth’ letters were painted by volunteers in a sunny gesture that heralds summer. Following the announcement of the new name for Plymouth’s pioneering £37 million cultural centre, shoppers in Plymouth’s city centre on Saturday witnessed an unexpected piece of global contemporary dance, street theatre and music, which heralded in the brand for the new ‘museum of the future’: The Box, Plymouth.
