Terry Reid, ?Superlungs? as he?s affectionately known, is without doubt one of the greatest rock and soul voices this country has ever produced. He’s coming to Frome to perform a solo show in the most intimate venue in town.
Terry famously turned down the front man?s job with Led Zeppelin, recommending his mate Robert Plant instead, a similar offer and rebuff to Deep Purple. Aretha Franklin once said The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Terry Reid were the best England had to offer in 1968. He underwent tours with The Rolling Stones, Cream, Jethro Tull and Fleetwood Mac, The Isle of White Festival in 1969 and Glastonbury in 1970.
A catalogue of 6 incredible studio albums, including the seminal album ?The River?, re-released to critical acclaim in 2002 and the 1976 Graham Nash produced ?Seed of Memory?.
Most of his October tour has sold out, including London’s Jazz Cafe, and here he plays to just 30 lucky people in HydeAway. This one is likely to fly so book now…
