The Apex Singers have just been nominated for four 2023 CARAs (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards) including Best Folk/World Song and Best Folk/World Album for their recent album release, Stravaig. Their debut album Hiraeth received critical acclaim including two CARA wins and ‘Album of the Week’ on Scala Radio. This album brings together fresh arrangements of folk-tunes from different cultures representing every continent, from an African lullaby, to a vocalised Irish jig.
